Benefits of Gold Filled Claps

Gold filled clasps are mostly used in accessories and fine jewelry articles. Gold filled material is a solid gold look alike with the difference in the quantity of gold used and manufacturing process. The first and foremost benefit of using gold filled material instead of pure gold is that while jewelry made from solid gold can be expensive and much more complex to work with, its substitute, known as gold filled or gold overlay, is not only affordable but also easy to mold into various shapes and forms.

It has been observed that gold filled clasps are very durable and long lasting as compared to any other material. Although the jewelry market offers a wide array of clasps from different sizes to designs, there are two most popular kinds of gold filled clasps namely toggle clasp and lobster claw clasp.

A gold filled toggle clasp is mostly used in necklaces and bracelets due to its unique locking system. It is also popularly known as bar and ring clasp considering its design. Lobster claw clasp is mostly used for strung projects as their locking mechanism is secure and considerate towards delicate pieces of jewelry.

Gold filled claps are not only useful but also create a distinct style statement for the wearer. Thus, such clasps are loved and worn by one and all.
